We are KC, Alex, and Isaac and look forward to having the opportunity to meet you! We honor and admire your process as you consider making an adoption plan. We are a family of 3 living in Northwest Indiana with our two dogs Oscar and LuLu. Our son Isaac was adopted in 2020, and we can’t wait to see him become a big brother and help foster a connection that he and his future sibling can share with adoption as part of their journey.
I would like to begin with a very heartfelt thank you for making the courageous choice to consider adoption and for taking the time to get to know me. My name is Karen. In that spirit, I have long wanted to become a mom through adoption. I come from an extraordinarily loving and supportive community of family and friends and would feel very privileged to have the opportunity to give a child all the love I have received. I look forward to sharing visits to area museums, trips to the theater and Grant Park, and so much more.

While you are considering adoption for your child, and hoping to find just the right family, we are nervously waiting to be chosen by just the right birth parent. Shawn was adopted and grew up in Massachusetts and Alex grew up in Milwaukee. We both still love city life and now live in Chicago with our two cats. We know that a letter like this is far too short to convey all of who we are, but we will try our best!
