Adoption Center for Family Building can complete relative home studies for anyone biologically related to a child that is legally free for adoption. The prospective adoptive parent must be working with an attorney in their home state. Our agency will complete the relative home study in alignment with the requirements set forth by the court. The home study process will include medicals, background clearances, references and at least one home visit with a social worker.

Our agency can also provide services for Stepparent Adoptions. Depending on the requirements of the court, the agency can complete backgrounds clearances only or a stepparent adoption home study. The stepparent must be working with an attorney in their home state. The home study process will include medicals, background clearances, references and at least one home visit with a social worker.
