We are excited about the prospect of growing our family, and hope this profile gives you a glimpse of who we are and the life that we will provide for a child.

While you are considering adoption for your child, and hoping to find just the right family, we are nervously waiting to be chosen by just the right birth parent. Shawn was adopted and grew up in Massachusetts and Alex grew up in Milwaukee. We both still love city life and now live in Chicago with our two cats. We know that a letter like this is far too short to convey all of who we are, but we will try our best!

Thank you for taking time to look at our profile! We are Skye and RJ and we’re from Northern Indiana. After over ten years together, we’re ready to open our hearts and home to children. Adoption has always been our first choice when deciding to grow our family; we have never seen ourselves having children by any other means. We hope that if you find yourself connecting to our story, we’ll be able to alleviate some of the stress you may be feeling at this time. We hope to have the opportunity to learn more about you.

We are Cady (31) and Jack (36). We have been married for over seven years and live in Chicago with our daughter Clementine (4) and our dog Goose who we rescued about 5 years ago. We talked about wanting to be parents and growing our family by adoption early on in our relationship and got to know several kids with unique adoption stories during our years as volunteers, which solidified our desire to adopt in the future.
