We are KC, Alex, and Isaac and look forward to having the opportunity to meet you! We honor and admire your process as you consider making an adoption plan. We are a family of 3 living in Northwest Indiana with our two dogs Oscar and LuLu. Our son Isaac was adopted in 2020, and we can’t wait to see him become a big brother and help foster a connection that he and his future sibling can share with adoption as part of their journey.

Shawn was adopted and grew up in Massachusetts and Alex grew up in Milwaukee. We both still love city life and now live in Chicago with our two cats. We know that a letter like this is far too short to convey all of who we are, but we will try our best!

Adoption has always been our first choice when deciding to grow our family; we have never seen ourselves having children by any other means. We are Cady (31) and Jack (36). We have been married for over seven years and live in Chicago with our daughter Clementine (4) and our dog Goose who we rescued about 5 years ago. We talked about wanting to be parents and growing our family by adoption early on in our relationship and got to know several kids with unique adoption stories during our years as volunteers, which solidified our desire to adopt in the future.

As a mother who's already experienced the joy of adoption, I'm eager to expand my family and provide a loving home to another child. We are Greg and Jeff and we are excited to be able to share our story with you. We live in Chicago and love all that the city has to offer. We’re both outgoing people with many shared interests. We regularly compete on a volleyball team, read a variety of books with our book club, and especially love wearing a variety of costumes! We are excited to grow our family and as future parents we are fully committed to raising a child with all the unconditional love that we have. Margo grew up in Northern Wisconsin and John grew up in Minnesota and we now call the suburbs of Chicago home. Margo is a biologist who teaches college courses and John is a biologist in a lab. Bevan is both a scientist and athlete as he makes Harry Potter potions and plays soccer and practices ninja gymnastics. Bevan is excited to become a big brother! We are Kristen and Michael and live in the suburbs of Illinois. Kristen is a high school math teacher and Michael owns his own business. We love going on family walks or runs, and yes, all our dogs run with us even our 14-year-old, who is the youngest at heart. Maria is a pre-school teacher in Chicago and Leo is a physical therapist, and we both love our jobs helping each other. After careful thought, we have been led to adoption to begin our family. We are Adrienne and Jon and we live in Goshen, Indiana about two hours from Chicago. Adrienne works for a community mental health center where she is greatly appreciated for her calm spirit and grace. Jon directs an educational farm and protects farmland for a living. Both of us love spending time in nature, which includes gardening, hiking, canoeing, and exploring. By reading our profile we hope you are able to learn a bit of our story and provide you with an idea of the life that your child would have in our home. We are Erin and Adam and we are so excited to build our family through adoption. Adam is a family doctor in a community healthy center and Erin is an editor at a publishing company. We met at a Jewish Shabbat (Sabbath) dinner in our community in July 2018. In June 2020, we got married in Kristin’s parent’s backyard in a small ceremony due to COVID. Then, on our first anniversary, we were able to finally have our big reception with all our family and friends. Since then, we’ve been talking about how to grow our family and it was Kristin’s lifelong desire to adopt so we knew from the beginning that adoption would be a part of our family plan.
